The shell has the flowing organic shape similar to a fiberglass chair of the 1950s, though, in this design, the designer has used a polyurethane foam that fits perfectly to the body, offering a pleasant softness with the utmost comfort.
The Step Armchair was designed by Massive Design, an award-winning studio that has done numerous product designs for Fortune 500 companies. The Step Armchair was Interior Design Magazine's Best of the Year Honoree in 2013.
