The Alice Chair by Giovannetti was designed by the Space Time project headed by Enrico Buscemi and Piergiorgio Leone in 2005. Enrico Buscemi and Piergiorgio Leone specialized in 'Corporate Strategic Design and Innovation' at the Domus Academy in Milan with a focus on architecture, interior design, and product design. They have collaborated with Giovannetti Collezioni, SpHaus, Arredaesse, Mitomi Jewels, Levi's, and Safilo on various consumer products. "When we design a product, we know today it has to go to meet a set of needs, desires, and functions. Pieces must be well designed, work well, but should also play with the emotions, capture the energy, it becomes a small object of desire. So we put together in the project what we love: simple shapes, clean lines, pure volumes, the architecture, but also the game, poetry, sometimes the irony, trying to give objects a compositional clarity."
Their work has been published in magazines such as Octagon, Interior, GdA International, car progress, Casamica, Case da Abitare.
