Rest Lounge Chair by Fasem
The Rest by Fasem is a lounge chair with a swivel steel frame available in various powder-coat finishes. The seat and inner backrest are upholstered in soft leather or Atlas Dedar fabric, while the outer backrest is upholstered in soft leather. The Rest provides an elegant presence in both relaxing home environments and reception areas.
The Rest Lounge Chair was designed by Patrick Norguet. Norguet was trained at ENSCI in Paris. His career received a big boost with the position of Head of Visual Communications for Louis Vuitton. In 2000, he chose to start his own design studio. Norguet’s design is a synthesis between Scandinavian sobriety, referring to Nordic well-being that favors comfort, softness, nuances, and everyday life, and French elegance, aimed at the history of design, innovation, industry, and its manufacturing process.
Some of his works are part of the permanent collections of prestigious museums, such as MOMA New York. He has worked with numerous high-design furniture companies, including Artifort, Cappellini, Frighetto, Lancel, Maxdesign, Modus, Molteni, Poltrona Frau, and Thonet.
