The Leaf Bentwood Chair is the newest contemporary design from this very old factory. Produced by the 150-year-old factory Ton in the Czech Republic, the seat and backrest from molded plywood suggest a model of optical and physical lightness. Its stability and strength are guaranteed by the construction made of bent solid wood. Apart from the veneer seat made of beech or oak, an upholstered version is also available.
The Leaf Bentwood Chair was designed by E-ggs of Italy. This studio was founded in 2012 by Gaia Giotti and Giona Scarselli in Florence. Their work is a cross-section between product design, interior design, and architecture.
