Gebruder Thonet Rehbeintisch Table by GTV
Designed in 1888 by Gebruder Thonet, the Rehbeintisch Bentwood Table is a unique criss-cross design. The shape and volumes provide the distinctive trait of the Austrian manufacturer, giving Rehbeintisch an extremely contemporary look even today. The Rehbeintisch Bentwood table has a feeling of solidity, yet at the same time, of lightness.
The structure has been created with the traditional technique of steam formed wood. The solid bent beech wood base comprises three or four feet ending in a hoof-like form and crisscrossing to shape this simple, decisive design. The beech veneer table top is edged with solid wood. The legs are finished with transparent plastic protection caps.
